Baked Salmon in Foil
Packed with all the goodness of omega 3 and protein, this easy salmon recipe is great with greens and past.
Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets, skin on
- Half onion, sliced
- 1 lemon, sliced
- 3 tablespoons butter, sliced
- 1 tablespoon cooking oil
Herbs & Spices – FinaMill it !
- ½ teaspoon dried dill
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- Chilli flakes, to taste
Method
Preparation
1.Let the salmon sit on the counter for 20 to 30 minutes to bring it up to room temperature.
2.Pat dry with a kitchen towel.
3.Use cooking oil, or cooking spray to cover the tinfoil, place fillet on top skin side down.
4.Season with salt, pepper, chilli and dill using the FinaMill and coat evenly.
5.Place butter slices evenly along the length of the salmon.
6.Place sliced onions and sliced lemon evenly spaced on top of the salmon fillet.
7.Wrap the fillet tightly with the tinfoil to keep juices in.
Cooking Direction
1.Place on baking tray.
2.Bake at 200° for 12 to 15 minutes depending on thickness.
3.Remove lemon slices and serve.
