Spicy Prawn Stir-fried Noodles
How about a sizzling stir fry this Saturday night?? We've got an amazing recipe for you to try out - trust us it's fabulous!!
- 200g egg noodles or soba noodles, uncooked weight
- 200g Green beans or green runner beans
- 200g king prawns
- 2 tablespoons dry sherry
- 2 tablespoon light soy sauce
- 1 tablespoons sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon cooking oil
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- Zest of 1 lemon
Herbs & Spices – FinaMill it !
- ½ teaspoon freshly ground chilli pepper
- ½ tablespoon freshly ground black pepper
1.Bring a pot of water to a boil and cook the green beans until just tender, 2 to 3 minutes. Drain.
2.Mix together the sherry, light soy sauce, and freshly ground black pepper and chilli and set aside.
3.Cook the noodles as instructed on the pack. Drain.
4.Heat the oil in a pan on medium heat. When it shimmers, add the garlic and lemon zest. As soon as they become fragrant, stir in the prawn and cook for 1 to 2 minutes; do not let the garlic and lemon zest burn. Pour over the sauce to coat the prawn.
5.Add noodles and green beans, stir well, drizzle over some sesame oil and serve.
